Abstract

Jikalau ada satu teks yang membuat pembacaan atas Jacques Lacan langsung terasa berat, teks itu adalah Écrits. Terbit pada 1966, buku ini menghimpun esai dan ceramah yang menandai perkembangan teori psikoanalisisnya, sekaligus menjadi dasar dari ajakannya untuk kembali ke Freud. Judul Écrits berarti tulisan tulisan dalam bahasa Prancis, tetapi isinya jelas bukan kumpulan tulisan yang bisa dibaca sebagai pengantar sederhana. Lacan memilih cara ungkap yang padat, berkelok, penuh metafora dan permainan kata, seakan pembaca memang tidak dibiarkan terlalu cepat merasa paham. Gaya semacam itu berkaitan dengan caranya memandang ketidaksadaran. Makna tidak selalu datang dalam bentuk yang terang, sering justru muncul lewat celah, salah tangkap, pengulangan, atau geseran kecil dalam bahasa. Di tengah kerumitan itu, pembacaan Slavoj Žižek dan Bruce Fink dapat dipakai sebagai pegangan, sebab keduanya membantu menjelaskan konsep Lacan secara lebih terarah tanpa menghilangkan sifat rumit yang memang dari pemikirannya.
